TUESDAY 22nd MARCH 2011 06:25 GMT

THIS DAY IN WW2 (22.3.1941)
In the North Atlantic... The Scharnhorst and Gneisenau reach French waters. As well as scattering a convoy, another ship has been sunk, bringing the total to 22 ships and 115,600 tons for both battleships. Considerable disruption to the British convoy system has been caused.

In East Africa... In the advance west of Jijiga the Allied forces overrun another defensive position at the Babile Pass.

TODAY IN MY LIFE
Abundant time today to get stuff done, my appointments at Bradford Cancer Support foreshortened to two. Tuesday is househusband day and I need to get into the habit of housework, because there's no one else! With all client follow-up done last night, I've left myself with no distractions other than a little "me-time".

Yesterday the dehumidifier extracted: 1.5 pints = 900 mls : O

TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
There's no getting round the fact that I fluorish in some environments and feel like a cornered animal in others. As far as possible I try to avoid unsuitable environments, and where unavoidable, I become intensely focused on my True Self. My intention is to nurture the favourable environments intensely enough that they support me on their own.

TODAY'S THOUGHT
There's no prize for doing something because you should.

TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you in the right place?

TODAY'S ONELINER

TODAY'S AFFIRMATION
Right here! Right now!
