Back To It After a Nice Break

THIS DAY IN WW2 (22.2.40) The Soviets begin to occupy the islands in the Gulf of Finland. The Finns evacuate Koivisto after blowing up the coast-defense guns there. The Moscow Tank Brigade, encircled near Kitelae, eats the last of its packhorses and must now survive on starvation rations dropped from Soviet aircraft.

TODAY IN MY LIFE: Two clients, prep, follow-up, networking and blogging.

TODAY'S THOUGHT: Everything you do to anyone, you do to yourself.

TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION: Living to serve is much nicer than living to grab.

TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU: If you were deeply committed to something that didn't work for three quarters of your life, would you sacrifice it to live the last quarter in peace?

TODAY'S ONELINER: Cross an atheist with a Jehovah's Witness, and you get someone knocking on your door for no reason : D

GARY'S DESERT ISLAND 100 Day 23: LYNYRD SKYNYRD - Sweet Home Alabama: Rock anthem of anthems! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwWUOmk7wO0&feature=related

TODAY'S NAME THAT TUNE: Sometimes I look up high and then I think there might just be a better life, away from all we know, that's where I wanna go, out on the wild side (1978)

TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: I will offer the most blessing I can to this moment.
